Crèdit Andorrà Group’s management company with its headquarters in Madrid, Valira Capital Asset Management, has been authorised by the Spanish financial securities markets’ regulatory body - the CNMV - to extend its activities with the management of traditional investment funds and SICAV's (open-ended collective investment schemes) and to carry out activities involving custody and administration.
Valira Capital Asset Management was authorised to manage hedge funds in January 2008 and was recognised for its management standards in May 2009 upon receiving the ISO 9001/2008 certification for quality and continuous improvement in management and administrative procedures, representing collective investment institutions, discretionary management of investment portfolios, consultancy and commercialisation. With this authorization, Valira has increased its field of management and has become, in just over two years, a management body for a broad spectrum of activity and commercialisation.
Valira Capital Asset Management is a management company mostly owned by Crèdit Andorrà , headed by Carlos Fernández-RubÃes, the president, and Santiago Moro, the CEO. These are renowned professionals with a recognised track record and pioneers in alternative management in Spain.
